Episode 34: Finding Desire After Life Changes

Love Notes LIVE • Episode 34

Desire After Change

Tonight on Love Notes LIVE, we explored what happens when life changes us and desire has to find its way back.

This episode was for anyone who has experienced a major transition and wondered if they would ever feel like themselves again. We talked about grief, healing, menopause, endings, new beginnings, and the truth that desire often becomes quiet during survival seasons.

Rather than asking how to get back to who we were, we explored a different question:

What if love is meant for the person we have become?

Tonight's dedications featured:

  • Missing You by John Waite
  • I Won't Hold You Back by Toto
  • After the Love Has Gone by Earth, Wind & Fire
  • The Search Is Over by Survivor

Tonight's romance recommendations:

Morning Glory by Lavyrle Spencer

The Way We Were

In our Soulful Connections segment, we explored how change does not make us less desirable, less lovable, or less worthy of connection. Life experience creates depth, resilience, wisdom, and compassion. The next chapter of love is often waiting for the person we have become, not the person we used to be.
